Privacy Policy
The Santa Fe County Trails app is available at no cost to users. This app has been updated and enhanced by independent contractor Mindshare Labs, Inc. under a written services contract with Santa Fe County, a governmental entity. The Santa Fe County Trails app is intended for use “as is.”
If you choose to use the Santa Fe County Trails app you agree to the collection and use of information relating to you and your use of this app. The information that is collected is used for providing and improving the app. Santa Fe County will not intentionally share information that you provide to use the app.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using the Santa Fe County Trails app, you may be required to provide certain information including data regarding your location while you are using the app. Your location information is not retained and is only used to provide a better user experience. The Santa Fe County Trails app does use third party services that may collect personal information.
Currently the only information being received from users is information about a user’s location. Mindshare Labs and Santa Fe County do not store that information. Note that in the future if certain enhancements to the app require users to submit personal information or other information in addition to user location information, that information may be subject to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, Section 14-2-1, NMSA 1978.
Log Data
Whenever you use the Santa Fe County Trails app and in the event of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third party products) from your phone or “Log Data.”Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing the Santa Fe County Trails app, the time and date of your use of the app and other data.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
The Santa Fe County Trails app does not use cookies, however the app may use third party code and libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. Youmay either accept or refuse cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you refuse cookies you may not be able to use some portions of the Santa Fe County Trails app.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to 1) facilitate the development of the Santa Fe County Trails app, 2) provide the Santa Fe County Trails app 3) assist us in analyzing how the Santa Fe County Trails app is being used.
Third party companies do not have access to any information that you may have provided to us as a user of the Santa Fe County Trails app. The Santa Fe County Trails app’s Data Log(s) however may contain a user’s location information. If the services of third parties are used, they will be required not to disclose or use any data log information for any other purpose except todevelop and debug the Santa Fe County Trails app.

The Santa Fe County Trails app receives information about a user’s location when using the app. Users of the app may be children or minors. Information received from any user of the Santa Fe County Trails app may be subject to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, Section 14-2-1, NMSA 1978.
